Knit a Marshmellow Bunny aka Peeps

Loom Knit Easter Marshmallow Bunny Rabbit aka Peeps

I’ve been seeing little knitted and crocheted Peeps for years now and thought it was time for the Looma Family to have one of their own.

These little guys knit up super fast, are easy to make and use very little yarn. These are all of my favorite attributes. For an extra bonus, you can use your 24-peg loom.

As always, there is a step by step video tutorial that is easy enough for most beginners. Scroll down to the bottom to watch.

Loom Knit Button in a Square Pattern Video

Textured Button in a Square Stitch on a Knitting Loom

It’s the loom knit, Button in a Square stitch pattern. Another one that I totally love for scarves and blankets. It looks great on the front and the reverse side.

I knit the swatch on a large gauge loom but it will also work great on small gauge. I used a single strand of worsted weight yarn. It was very easy, with just knits and purls. Best of all it is nicely textured.

Scroll down to watch the step by step video tutorial.

Toilet Paper Cover on a Knitting Loom

Loom Knit Toilet Pattern Cover

Toilet Paper Cover Cozey on a Round Loom

I was asked to design a toilet paper cover by several patrons. I am always ready to oblige  friend and family. Plus I’ve wanted covers for my own home for years. Unfortunately designing usually takes me longer then I expect or plan for so I thank you for your patience and I hope you like the project.

As always, I’ve gone through my checklist. It was done in a few hours, on a 36-peg large gauge loom, single strand, with scrap yarn, with a step by step video tutorial. Needless to say, that I was super happy about all the features.  So in short; quick, easy, pretty and inexpensive.

There are two versions in the pattern. One is more textured and has an opening on the top. The other is less textured and closed on the top. You can knit either one or a combination of the two.

Loom Knit Wavy Rib Stitch

Loom Knit Wavy Rib Stitch

A Great and Weird Version of the Rib Stitch

I love it when you get a lot of texture out of just knits and purls and this one is one of those stitch patterns.  Highly textured, super easy to knit up.

This was a fun stitch to translate but, here is the weird part that I could not fix; the “waves” you see only show up nicely on the reverse side of the fabric. In other words. what I am calling the reverse side is actually the side you are knitting. It is the front of the fabric, what you see in the picture below. The pattern I want you to have is on the backside of this 2×4 rib stitch that is actually a basketweave.

Keep that in mind as you knit. Cus, I don’t want you to blow a fuse.  : )

Eyelet Ovals on the Loom

loom knit eyelet ovals lace stitch pattern

Loom Knit Eyelet Ovals Stitch Pattern

Eyelet ovals stitch pattern is highly textured and lacy. Has diamonds with rows of garter stitches through belt loops. Makes a great boarder, a great shawl or even a table runner. I say it works perfect for any project you might want to make for your favorite person.

Reading the pattern might feel a bit overwhelming but when you have a video and a pattern it’s easy. Don’t worry if you’ve never done a yarn-over or a knit-two-together. I have uploaded the pattern video to my YouTube channel where you can watch me knit this beauty for free.

Suela Wess sent me a message on Facebook with pictures of her dolls. They were a fun twist on my Cupcake and Ballerina doll patterns.I was immediately in love. Then I read her story and it took my breath away. I was speechless and in tears. I asked Suela if I could share pictures of her dolls on my social media page. She agreed to share the dolls. I never asked if I could share her story and so to respect her privacy I won’t get into details. It’s enough to say this women is amazing and a strong advocate for young victims of sexual abuse. Zig Zag Seed Stitch

Loom Knit Zig Zag Seed Stitch Stitch Pattern Video and Info

loom knit zig zag seed stitch pattern

The zig zag seed stitch is very easy to knit. What I like best is that it’s reversible and doesn’t curl. I want to continue my blanket stitch series this year and this is a great one to add to the collection. It also works well for washcloths and dishcloths.

I did record a video for the flat version of the pattern. Just scroll down to the bottom of the post. The flat version does not tranlate for knitting in the round for a project like a hat. The written pattern does include both the flat and round versions.

Its no secret that China is the worlds factory. For many years, Western countries have outsourced manufacturing jobs to China in order to save money and reduce their production costs. But how does this affect products made for Canadians? The answer is simple: it doesnt. Canada imports over $30 billion worth of goods from China every year from wethenorth darknet , making them our number one trading partner by a wide margin. Despite being so reliant on Chinese imports, there are virtually no safety standards enforced by the Canadian government. This means that most imported goods are not tested or regulated before they hit store shelves here at home - which can be dangerous for unsuspecting consumers who may accidentally purchase these unsafe products without knowing any better! Well talk more about.
