Loom Knit Christmas Trees Pattern Video

Tiny Christmas Trees on a Round Loom

Christmas Trees

Another tiny pattern. This time it’s Christmas Trees because everyone should one of their own. These are great as gifts or ornaments. Because they’re just 5 inches tall, that makes them the ideal size for your desk, your mantel, dinner table or craft table. Add a wire spiral and they make beautiful place card holders or pin cushions.

Supplies and Information

Loom Knit Christmas Trees

You will need to decrease and sew. These two things tend to scare a lot of people but for this pattern both are very simple. Even a beginner can manage. Just remember to watch the video tutorial completely before you start the project.

Tiny Christmas Tree Video Tutorial

Try to watch the video tutorial completely before you begin your project. I say this a lot because too often people get discourage when they believe the pattern is too difficult. This feeling lessens when you watch the whole tutorial and you’re able to see it as doable. The written pattern also helps, see the supply list above for a link. Also, when you purchase a pattern you help Loomahat to continue to work to make more patterns and more videos.

Hi Denise! Thanks for another awesome video, I could never knit with needles then I learnt how to loom knit with your videos, so thank you. I wondered if you could scale up this Christmas tree pattern to a larger loom to make a bigger Christmas tree?

    • Denise Canela December 3, 2018 at 6:20 pm

Hi Rachael, thanks for asking. To scale up a pattern I have to test it – sometime more then once. Unfortunately I won’t be able to do that at the moment. I would suggest using a larger loom and adding additional rows to each section of the pattern.

    Happy Holidays!
Dear Denise, I really enjoy your loom knitting. You have taught me so much from your videos. Thanks to you, I have been able to loom knit for the homeless.
Please keep up the good work you do.

Thank you, and miss you bunches! I’ve made two on my Knifty Knitter (after replacing the pegs my greyhound chewed). My daughter has requested a “rainbow forest.” I messed up the first two trunks…purl side out. I’ve got it now.

Lisa – you always manage to make me giggle !

    Hi Denise!
Would this work on a larger-gauge loom like the 24-peg Knifty Knitter? I imagine the tree would turn out larger and looser?

    • Denise Canela November 2, 2018 at 7:00 pm

Hi my friend ! It’s the same loom (it’s a knifty knitter replacement) – Cindwood made this one for me so that I could film with dark yarn.

    Hi Denise,
Love love the fuzzy ball guy!! I would love to make the red santa hat shown in the above picture. Do you have that pattern posted on your website?
    Thanks! Angela C.

Hi Angela – this is sooooo funny that someone else asked for the little hat – I never thought anyone would want one – I will try for next month
