Spanish Knitting Books for Looms

Spanish Knitting Books

Knitting Books

Spanish knitting books for loom knitting are really hard to find. If you do a Google search you’re lucky if you find 1 and many times the vendor is in another country and won’t ship to you. My Amazon search did not yield me a find until I had the exact name or ISBN.  Well if you’ve been interested in finding Spanish knitting books for patterns and instructions for loom knitters I will tell you that here in the USA I have been able to find only 3 books through Amazon. They are good ones and my have been happy with my purchase but would love to find many more.

I am hoping that this article will help me and you. I will start with a short introduction to the books that I have found in the order of preference and make a call out to the world-wide web to anyone who can tell me of more.

Complementos de Punto

Spanish Knitting Books

    • Paperback: 80 pages
    • Projects: 25 projects
    • Publisher: Editorial El Drac, S.L. (January 9, 2012)
    • ISBN-10: 8498742676
    • ISBN-13: 978-8498742671

An unconventional method of written patterns. Very cool. More of a text-book way of teaching but with good pictures. Instead of a bunch of abbreviations this author choice to write out her instructions.  I really liked it and this is my favorite of the three books.

The other REALLY awesome thing about this book that is different form the others is that you can get this book in Spanish and in English. The English title is,”How to Knit Fashionable Scarves on Circle Looms”. So, if you have a family member or friend that would like to do a Loom-a-Long but one of you likes Spanish and the other English you can both do the project in the language you feel comfortable with.I think this one makes a great gift.

Hi Carolyn from my research, only one of them comes in English. How to Knit Fashionable Scarves on Circle Looms. For the link: Click Here
It’s a good book with not just nice patterns but great resource for some cool techniques. I paid $11- Worth it. However if you have purchased Loom Knit Primer by Isela Phelps you really should consider that book. Awesome resource and 30 projects..For that book Click Here.
If you get the Look Knit Primer – Let me know so that I can give you some further advise on using it.
