Seed and Purl Basketweave Stitch on Any Loom
The Seed and Purl Basketweave is a curvy twist on the classical version. One square pulls and the other pushes. A sort of yin and yang. You get lots of texture with simple knits and purls. I think it would make a fabulous scarf.
