This is so exciting. Here is Preview 2014 for the Loving with Looms Award.

Meet the judges, see the great prizes, learn the rules and procedures for nomination and the deadlines for participation.

The Rules and Procedures

Nominations will begin 10/18/2014. Entries will be taken by Rafflecopter, which is an automated contest system. Most of you are used to using this system during our Monthly Yarn Giveaway.

  • Award is only open to US and Canadian Residents
  • The Nominee must use a loom for charitable giving.
  • The Nominee must give to a not-for-profit charity with a history that can be verified online.
  • He or she must be willing to have their full name and picture featured on this website and social media.
  • You will Nominate someone or yourself by writing why you or your nominee should win the Award and the name of the charity in the comment section of the page and confirm it on Rafflecopter. If you do not do BOTH actions You or Your Nominee CAN NOT win.

Nominations will end on 11/07/2014 and the 3 Prize Winners will be announced. The judges will then consider what you wrote in the comment and vote for 1 of the 3 random winners to be the 2014 Loving with Looms Award Winner. The Award Winner will be announced on 11/15/2014.

I’m unable to work because of Fibromyalgia. I volunteer 2 – 3 times a week at Infant Crisis Services, Inc.

I’ve been a loom knitter for about 18 months. I donate loom knitted hats to the children (clients) at ICS.

I’m an Arizona native and an artist, knitter, sewer, needle felter, decorator, inventor and jill-of-all-trades.  I’m also a mother of two.  My son is an Army Corporal & Medic, and my daughter is the mother of my 3 beautiful grandchildren. ( See her on YouTube ! )
