Bow Tie Basketweave Stitch
Here’s a basketweave stitch with a literal twist. It has a bow tie in the middle of the purl section of the weave which gives it its name Bow Tie Basketweave.
What is extra cool is that it looks great regardless of the gauge of your loom or the weight of your yarn. So you can use whatever you have on hand.
Supplies and Information
For my swatch I used a large gauge loom and a single strand of worsted weight yarn. There is a step by step video of the flat version. Be sure to get the written pattern for both the flat and the round version for uses like hats, socks or gloves.
