The Brick Wall Stitch is Also Known as Ballband
Don’t let the two colors scare you, the Brick Wall stitch pattern is easy. If you can skip a stitch, you can knit this stitch. I promise.
It’s highly textured and makes a bold statement when contrasting colors come together. And, although it’s not reversible, it looks great on both sides. This makes it a good choice even for scarves and blankets. Me, I’m thinking cowls and pillows.
As always, there is a step by step video tutorial below to make it extra easy. Just knits, purls and a few skips so the pattern can be managed by ALL knitters of any skill level.

Keep in mind that this is a stitch pattern video and not a project pattern and so there is no cast-on or cast-off. Because projects and not stitch patterns determine the way you start and finish.
I recommend that you watch the video completely before starting any projects.
