Loom Knit CDD Lace Center Double Decrease

Have you ever used the center double decrease, also known as the CDD to make a lacy project? Here is a 6 row pattern with a step by step video tutorial to show you how.

I’m totally in love with the delicate look of this stitch. I think it would make a lovely wedding shawl or super elegant table runner. I can’t help but image a dainty tea room.

am I able to make shoe/ boot laces on the standard round knitting looms?

You can make i-cords with any loom. Depending on the thickness the icord can work as shoelaces.

    Hi Denise
Thank you so much for your clear instructions. I’ve enjoyed all of your videos.
There is a shawl with pockets that my daughter is asking if I could make. It has pockets and is crocheted. Do you have a pattern of something similar or can adapt it to a loom?
It’s on Etsy and called Perfect Pockets Shawl
