Loom Knit an Easy Cup Cozy

 

This project is quick, easy and makes a great gift when you add a pretty mug. It takes less than 10 yards of yarn and a couple of hours. This means you get to use up some of that scarp yarn and make a family or friend very happy. I always love finding scrap yarn projects that are fun to make and fun to give. By the way, you’re allowed to give yourself a cup cozy.

Skill Level: Beginners

Stitches: Knit and Purl

Finished Size: Approximately 11 x 1.5 inches

Loom:  Any Loom at least 8-pegs. Small 24-peg Knifty Knitter was used in sample.

Yarn:  Approximately 45 Yards (9 per item) of Worst Weight Yarn. Used Sugar and Cream in Sunshine

Tools: Any Loom Hook, I used the KB Ergonomic hook. , Blunt Needle

Optional: 2 Buttons. Used 12mm, Stitch markers
