Flag Stitch on a Knitting Loom Pattern Video

Loom Knit the Flag Stitch

Loom Knit Flag Stitch

I have a previous post of a flag stitch that was much larger. I decided that I wanted to convert the original small version of this stitch for the large gauge loom. It took several tries and some tweaking but I managed to come up with a version I think everyone with a large gauge loom can appreciate.

I did a large version of this pattern with the idea of knitting large squares in a row in order to create a blanket.  To see that post and video click HERE. This time the idea is the same except with smaller squares. Scroll down to watch the step by step video of the stitch pattern.

Hi- I just found your videos on youtube and they are wonderful! I am not ready for all these stitches yet but I have a question I just can’t find the complete answer to. In the scarf video you said every 3 pegs would make an inch of width- is that only true for the size of loom you were using? My pegs are 7/16″ apart so can you tell me how to figure how many pegs would make an inch in width? I would be so grateful!
