Free Loomahat Gift Tags

For a few months now I have been designing Loom Knitting tags for my patrons on Patreon. I post them on Mondays with a brief explaination for the details on the label. I had to really consider sharing this tag here but you’re family so let me be honest with these two things ….

First, loom knitters will often ask what are the rules for selling products from my patterns. I usually refer them to a video: Click HERE . In the video I ask that they create a tag which includes the website address so that we share in the gain of their sell. I don’t charge for commercial use of the pattern but I do want to increase awareness of the craft of loom knitting and my brand.

I totally understand the hesitation in the seller thinking with the tag the person will instead make their own. But that is extremely rare to never. The person trying to find knitted gifts doesn’t knit. My hope is that they know someone who does or that they get curious about something they never heard of. But I asure you that a tag with my website address won’t stop them from buy something that’s already done.

Before getting into the next reason for the tags, let me start by thanking YOU from the bottom of my heart for the support, both financial and emotional. Engagement is something I can’t pay for and I can’t beg and plead out of anyone but it is just as important as the dollar I need to pay my bills and turn on the lights. Because without feedback, comments and likes I can’t stay creative. I shut down and have no idea what the next project will be. With that said …

The second reason for this tag, is the bigger reason and it has nothing to do with sellers. The big one is brand recognition and craft exposure. I’m hoping that you will help me spread both. If you add a tag to some of your gifts, ( which are way more items then those sold ) you tell someone there’s such a thing as loom knitting and there is a place to learn how to loom knit.
