Loom Knit a New Hook Cover
You need a new hook cover because you can make one quickly, easily and with just a little bit of your favorite scrap yarn. I’ve added some fun beads and a pom-pom. I promise that you’re going to love this project.
There is a step by step video tutorial to guide you from cast-on to assembly. It will show you how to knit the small and the large version of the loom knitting hook. Scroll all the way to the bottom to watch the video. If you get the written pattern it includes four versions of the project so you can choose to knit flat or in the round.

I have followed you for 2 years. I love your tutorials and patterns.
My problem is that I am buying the proper yarn, i.e. #4, #5, etc.
However, I never read anything about what ply of yarn.
I am doing a project for charity and my #5 100% acrylic will not come over the pegs.
Do we need to pay attention the ply of the yarn?
Thank you.
Well, the ply is part of the thickness and weight of the yarn but if you’re having issues with the knit off it might be your tension. Here is a video I hope will help: https://www.loomahat.com/stitch-is-too-tight/
