Judges Needed
Three judges needed to help choose the winner of the 2014 Loving with Looms award. Last year was VERY controversial. I was even accused of creating the award so that I could win it myself. In order to keep the drama to a minimum and focus on the GOOD so many beautiful people do all year-long, I’ve decided to have Rafflecopter choose 3 random winners.
All 3 will win some prizes (to be announced) but only ONE person will win all the same prizes as the other 2, the Award and the $50.00 Amazon Gift card that comes with the award.
That one Loving with Loom Award Winner will be chosen by those three blog readers (that don’t have to be loom knitters) and hopefully at least two loom knitting blog writers (hoping for more) . If you have a loom knitting blog will you please be one of my judges? If you have a loom knitting website you really like – ask the blog writer to be a judge here.

Preliminary Rules and Guidelines
Nominations start on the Internationally Recognized Holiday:
The Sweetest Day – Every Year this day is Celebrated on Third Saturday of October. This year it lands on 10/18. That is when nominations will begin.
According to Wikipedia: It is described by Retail Confectioners International as an “occasion which offers all of us an opportunity to remember the sick, aged and orphaned, but also friends, relatives and associates whose helpfulness and kindness we have enjoyed.”
How it will work: Draft versions – some of the rules may change between now and October. Judges will help decide the process
Entries will be taken by Rafflecopter. Most of you are used to using this system during our Monthly Yarn Giveaway.
The Entry will be to Nominate someone or yourself in the comment section of the page and confirm it with Rafflecopter. To level the playing field no bonus social media entries. Some of the most giving folks don’t use Facebook or Twitter.
The Nominee must use a loom for charitable giving.
The Nominee must give to a charity with a history that can be verified online.
He or she must be willing to have their full name and picture featured on this website and social media.
The judges will vote for 1 of the 3 random winners to be the 2014 Loving with Loom Award Winner.

I have given loomed items to Infant Crisis Services, Inc. in the past. And plan to again this year. I know I wouldn’t be eligible for an award if I was a judge. But I’m still willing to be a judge. http://www.infantcrisis.org
