Denise,
I only recently started loom knitting, and I love it! I have made a number of newborn hats and a couple child size hats as starters. I have learned how mostly by watching your videos on YouTube. I appreciate your videos most because you explain things so well! Thank you for all your videos!
I have one question for you. When I first started, I noticed the “ladder” effect on one hat and figured out how to prevent it from happening again, but is there a way of tightening the ladder stitches on a finished project? It’s not bad, just the rows in the brim.
Thank you once again for your help in me learning to loom knit!
Hi Jan, the only thing I can suggest – and I have never tried it myself – is to thread a needle with matching yarn and weave a few rows through those wide . loose loops.
Denise – I have a general question , not about this post. I had bought a knitted shawl. I then created my own pattern using stitches (garter) I had learned on your site. They used different stitches on the one I purchased. I’m a little unsure if it is ok to post on one of the Facebook loom knitting pages since it is not my original design. What do you think?
Hi NLK- If you’ve changed the pattern in any way it is your own original design. Have fun !
Denise, do you have a video for men’s slipper socks? I made the socks but they were too long and his calves were too big so I unraveled them and want to make slipper socks for him. I love your tutorials! Thanks, Debi
Hi Deborah – I do not – YET 🙂
