Men’s Eyelets in Cables Scarf on a Knitting Loom

Loom Knit Eyelets in Cables Stitch Scarf Men Loomahat

Loom Knit Cables Stitch Men’s Scarf

I’m always happy when a project I made on a large gaugle loom with a single strand of worsted weight yarn looks amazing. Especially if the yarn I used was inexpensive and widely available.

The Eyelets in Cables scraf took me a long time to design and knit. I kept changing my mind, changing the name, changing the cables. At one point I even closed the eyelets. But that’s a story for another day. For now, let me recommend that you give this project a try. It definitely makes for a very classy gift for any member of the family or your friends.

As most of my projects, this one has a step by step, very detailed video. I will take you from the begining to the finishing touches.

Marshmallow Mug Cupcake Hats

Loom Knit Marshmallow Mug Hats Pattern Video and Information

Loom knit marshmallow mug hats

One of my customers on Etsy asked me if I could design a marshmallow mug hat. I had seen them on Instagram but not really considered them. I can’t explain why. Both the mugs and the hats are super cute. But once Donna asked me, my head was turning at the speed of light with ideas.

I wanted to make a hat that would be fun and work for many different occasions and for many different people. I believe there’s nothing better than cupcakes. This particular little hat will work well with the Tiny Doll project, other mugs, other toys and even realy babies.

Like most of my patterns, this one includes a step by step video tutorial.Scroll to the bottom to watch the video.

There is also a written pattern. I want to thank all those that support my work by purchasing the pattern, share my videos and engage on Facebook and other social media. That helps me a lot.

Loom Knit Convertible Hat Cowl on a Long or Round Loom

It’s a hat that is also a cowl, you can knit on a long loom or a round loom. You wear it as a messy bun hat or an earwarmer. I think it’s perfect when can’t decide what to knit as a gift. You make one project and the recipient gets four gifts.

I was asked to design this project by one of my patrons for her daughter Tara. Before I was done testing the project Tara passed away. This was a bit difficult to absorb and I lack the words to express my thoughts about this experience. I am grateful that I can share it with Tara’s mom, her daughter and you.

Knit a Plant Pot Cozy with a Circular Knitting Loom

Here is another really cool project that is quick, easy and uses very little yarn. I love that it makes a great gift for anyone, any gender or age. Another upside is that the plant pot itself is a plastic water bottle that would have ended up in a landfil.  If you don’t use water bottles you can use a mini can that measures between 2 and 2.5 inches.

As always there is a step by step video tutorial that walks you from the empty water bottle to the plant super cute plant holder. Scroll to the bottom of the post to watch it.

Worry Worm Loom Knit Pattern Video and Poem

Loom Knit Worry Worm Pattern and Tags

My Facebook friend Michel asked if I could design a Worry Worm for the knitting loom. It is a beautiful way to brighten someones day. I loved the concept so much that I started working on the pattern the same day. And, because the Worry Worm Poem is so important to the project I also designed some postcards and tags. So when you buy the written pattern you also get the PDF file of the postcards and tags. Read the poem below, under the supply list.

As always there is a step by step video tutorial to show you how to loom knit the little worm with any loom that has at least 3 pegs. I believe the project is easy enough for a beginner. By the way, this is another great way to use up some of that scrap yarn while you help someone smile.

Tilted Blocks Pattern Information and Video

loom knit tilted blocks stitch

The Tilted Blocks Stitch on a Knitting Loom

The lacy Tilted Blocks stitch pattern is variation on the traditional basket weave. The long eyelets combined with the garter stitch give this fabric high texture and great geometry. It doesn’t curl at all which is another plus. An extra bonus is that the pattern was made using a large gauge loom and a single strand of worsted weight yarn. No special tools or high end yarn yet your have a beautiful fabric that will work well for blankets,  shawls and if done in the round, for a great pair of summer socks.

As always I give you a step by step video tutorial you can follow for the flat version of this stitch. Trust me that it looks more complex then it actually is when you watch the video.  To use the pattern for your projects in the round you will need the written pattern because the flat version doesn’t translate.

The Loom Knit Button Flower

The Button Flower is an super easy quick project that is actually part of a bigger project I hope to finish soon. I felt that some puffy, simple embelishment was going to be perfect and although I totally love the Rib Stitch Flower I felt I wanted more of a multi-layer option and so here we are with a new pattern.

By the way, like so many of my projects this is a scrap yarn buster, isn’t that just the best thing ever. In fact my scrap yarn bin is getting low this year. Well, I think that’s a great pattern because, guess what … when you use scrap yarn you’re not spending any money.

Its no secret that China is the worlds factory. For many years, Western countries have outsourced manufacturing jobs to China in order to save money and reduce their production costs. But how does this affect products made for Canadians? The answer is simple: it doesnt. Canada imports over $30 billion worth of goods from China every year from wethenorth darknet , making them our number one trading partner by a wide margin. Despite being so reliant on Chinese imports, there are virtually no safety standards enforced by the Canadian government. This means that most imported goods are not tested or regulated before they hit store shelves here at home - which can be dangerous for unsuspecting consumers who may accidentally purchase these unsafe products without knowing any better! Well talk more about.
