Diamond Moss Stitch Pattern

The Diamond Moss Stitch on a Large Gauge Loom

I continue my search for stitch patterns that work well on large gauge loom with just one strand of yarn. I’m very happy with this one although the picture just doesn’t do it justice.

I hope you will give it a try on something special and tell me what you think.

As always there is a step by step video tutorial. I will give you a heads up that it is longer than most of my stitch pattern videos but I think it’s worth it.

Pocket Scarf on Any Loom with 26 Pegs

The Pocket Scarf has been on my mind for some time now. My holdup was because I wanted the project to be done in one piece with minimal sewing.  This project turned out better than I expected and I’m super happy. The scarf is beautiful, chunky and cozy.

It’s a project that any beginner can handle. It’s also helpful that the pattern includes a step by step video tutorial. Because the yarn is chunky, the project knits up really fast.

10 Things Loom Knitting Beginners Shouldn’t Do

I’ve been teaching loom knitting for about 10 years, always laser focused on beginners and easy projects. In the above video are 10 “Don’t” I think most beginners should at least consider.

This is a short video I hope you will watch completely and share with other first time loom knitters. It’s not going to fit perfectly with everybody but again it’s based on my personal experience. Let me and others know what you think in the comment sections below.

LOOMS: Any large gauge

YARN: As recommended by the pattern. Try to keep worsted weight on hand.

HOOK: The kits come with a hook and needle. I prefer the KB Ergonomic hook

SCISSORS: Any common pair of scissors. Best option is a sharp scissor.

STITCH MARKERS: Optional but for me a necessary tool. I like mine to be bands with a cute charm.

Loom Knit 2 Lace Shawls to Make an Awesome Top Cover

Loom Knit Lace Crop Top Cover

I have been wanting to make a top cover for a long time. I wear a lot of t-shirts and I like the idea of dressing them up. Because of the way this project is assembled you get two patterns in one. There is the shawl that you can make and wear by itself. The other option is to knit two shawls and get a top cover for your extra efforts.

The stitch was done in a previous post. To see that video and get more information, click here.

Loom Knit Chubby Doll

Over the years I have been asked for a large version of the Tiny Doll pattern.  Well I wanted to make sure I could make it as close to life size as possible and that I could get it done with one loom. After a few tries I got exactly what I wanted. I hope you will love dolly as much as I do.

Garter Stitch Necklace on Any Knitting Loom Video

Loom Knit the Garter Stitch Necklace Cowl

Loom knit garter stitch necklace

I wanted to design a spring cowl that worked in places like Florida where it’s cold in the early morning, warm in the late morning and hot by noon. Then at about 6:00 pm you feel a little chill in the air. So the Garter Stitch Necklace is it.
You can make all your straps the same size, adjust the number of straps or make them different length. I think it’s super cool and I sure hope you like it. Don’t forget that mothers day is Sunday, May 10.

Face Mask Extender Free Pattern with Video

Loom Knit Face Mask Extender

loom knit face mask extender

I’ve been asked over and over again to design a pattern for a loom knit face mask. But I understand that knitted fabric holds bacteria. I’m no expert and I’m not willing to take the chance on another human being and so here is the next best thing to help those that have to use a mask. I’ve designed a face mask extender based on a news article sent to me by Nan Jacobs, my dear Patreon patron.

The pattern is free below thanks to the almost 300 awesome people that support me on that platform.

By the way this is the second free pattern they have made possible. Here is the birds nest project with a step by step video designed for charity.  ( Read More )…

Flag Stitch on a Knitting Loom Pattern Video

Loom Knit the Flag Stitch

Loom Knit Flag Stitch

I have a previous post of a flag stitch that was much larger. I decided that I wanted to convert the original small version of this stitch for the large gauge loom. It took several tries and some tweaking but I managed to come up with a version I think everyone with a large gauge loom can appreciate.

I did a large version of this pattern with the idea of knitting large squares in a row in order to create a blanket.  To see that post and video click HERE. This time the idea is the same except with smaller squares. Scroll down to watch the step by step video of the stitch pattern.

How to Loom Knit a Coaster Mug Rug

Why does your mug need a rug? Because they’re cute, quick and easy to make and you can make them from scarps. I am looking forward to a ladies luncheon so I can show off my Mug Rug in many different colors. They also make great gifts when you match them up with a really pretty or cool mug. Most importantly it’s another unisex project. You know that there aren’t enough knitting patterns for men. Here is another good one.

Its no secret that China is the worlds factory. For many years, Western countries have outsourced manufacturing jobs to China in order to save money and reduce their production costs. But how does this affect products made for Canadians? The answer is simple: it doesnt. Canada imports over $30 billion worth of goods from China every year from wethenorth darknet , making them our number one trading partner by a wide margin. Despite being so reliant on Chinese imports, there are virtually no safety standards enforced by the Canadian government. This means that most imported goods are not tested or regulated before they hit store shelves here at home - which can be dangerous for unsuspecting consumers who may accidentally purchase these unsafe products without knowing any better! Well talk more about.
