Reversible Hat Free Loom Knit Pattern
Some things are so cool that they must be shared. The Reversible Hat is one of those things. When I saw the picture on Bonny Pomerleau-Paradis’ blog page Looming Exclusive Design I knew you guys would really like it. To make things even better the pattern is easy to follow and FREE.
If you use this or any of her patterns PLEASE leave a comment for Bonny and thank her for giving away for FREE.
Now as always I want to share a few notes of my own about size adjustment and stitches. So get your favorite size round loom, your hook and two skeins of contrasting color yarn and let’s make a Reversible Hat for someone we love.

The Supplies for The Reversible Hat are Simple
The pattern calls for a Medium 31-peg loom for a toddler. Bonny is using the Knifty Knitter brand so her’s is red. If you’re new to loom knitting don’t let this distract you. Any 31-peg loom will work.
Note: For an adult version use the Large 36-peg loom and if you want to slouch use the 41-peg loom. I would not use this design for a newborn or preemie.
Yarn
The pattern calls for Baby yarn #3
Note: For an adult version move up to the worsted weight #4. I would not go any higher because the lacy part of the hat won’t work as well.
A Hook and A Yarn Needle
Stitch Skills Needed: Tight Knit Stitch, sometimes called the Fashion Stitch (1 over 2) and the Figure 8 (for the lacy half)

Note: Your favorite Lace stitch can be a substitute for the Figure 8. Below is one that might be interesting: It is the Three Step Stitch. For a Picture, Text and Video Tutorial: Click HERE

Lacey Exterior on the Left – Liner on the Right. Tell me what you think?
