Snag Free Stitch Markers

Snag Free Stitch Markers for Knitting Looms

Snag Free Stitch Markers

Snag Free Stitch Markers are a cool craft project that is useful, practical and great for gift giving. Super cheap and quick to construct. What makes these really awesome is that they hug the pegs so nicely so they work well for large or small gauge looms. They won’t move around and won’t mess with your yarn or your hook. Same if you choose to add them to needles.

Below are the instructions complete with text, pictures and a short video.

Snag Free Stitch Markers Supplies

Snag Free Stitch Markers

Best to use good quality rubber bands. You don’t want to have to assemble them twice because the band snaps.

Once you’ve made your snag free stitch markers store them in a resealable plastic bag. You want to prevent the bands from drying out. This causes them to break prematurely. If giving them away as a gift be super sweet and send them off with a little care label.

A good idea is to buy your supplies in bulk. The per unit price will be pennies. That will make it easy to make some and give some away.
