The Tilted Blocks Stitch on a Knitting Loom
The lacy Tilted Blocks stitch pattern is variation on the traditional basket weave. The long eyelets combined with the garter stitch give this fabric high texture and great geometry. It doesn’t curl at all which is another plus. An extra bonus is that the pattern was made using a large gauge loom and a single strand of worsted weight yarn. No special tools or high end yarn yet your have a beautiful fabric that will work well for blankets, shawls and if done in the round, for a great pair of summer socks.
As always I give you a step by step video tutorial you can follow for the flat version of this stitch. Trust me that it looks more complex then it actually is when you watch the video. To use the pattern for your projects in the round you will need the written pattern because the flat version doesn’t translate.
