Tiny Bows on Any Knitting Loom: Pattern and Video

Loom Knit Tiny Bows on Any Knitting Loom

Tiny Bows

I was asked on Facebook  if I could design a pattern and make a video for Tiny Bows. I remembered that the little feet on my Tiny Chicks actually looked like a bow. So I took some clips from that video and a portion of the pattern to create this post and the video below.

I believe this is a very easy pattern. I hope you guys find it useful. You can add these cuties to baby booties ,hats, socks or even attach a key ring. The possibilities are limitless.  Be sure to check out the baby booties pattern and the Tiny Chicks.

Tiny Bows Supplies

Loom: Any loom with at least 10 pegs. I used a 24-peg Knifty Knitter

Yarn:  Approximately 2 yards of worsted weight. I used scrap yarn – mostly Red Heart Super Saver

Hook: Any loom hook. I used the KB Ergonomic hook.

Tools: Yarn Needle. I used a blunt metal needle and Stitch markers

Size: Approximately 2 inches long

Pattern

Cast-on: Drawstring cast-on 10-pegs Flat.

Rows 1 – 12: Knit the row

Bind-off: Use the Gathered method.

Instructions: Pull the working yarn on both sides to gather, close the edges to form a tube. Sew the two sides then flatten the fabric and sew the sides together. Bring the two strands of working yarn to the middle. Wrap them around the fabric to form the bow.
